about me.

A Manchester based professional photographer, specialising in the field of gig, festivals and event photography hailing from Manchester in the North West, however shooting across UK providing rich photographic media.

Hi my name is Matt Eachus, and I am The Manc Photographer.

In relation to certifications and qualifications, I am part of the Nikon Professional scheme. I obtained A levels at the highest grades in the study of Photography, although a few years back now I may add!

On the other hand, the company The Manc Photographer brand sites under, creates bespoke websites for clients across the UK. Within that field I hold an advanced MCSE, am a certified Microsoft IT professional and also have a BSC honours in Web Systems Design.

Whilst being a professional freelance photographer, I’ve held residencies with Download Festival, V Festival (Chelmsford), Leeds Festival, Latitude Festival, Live Nation Music, Manchester Academy Venues (1, 2, 3, 4), Hideout Festival in Croatia, Annie Mac Lost&Found Festival Malta and Warehouse Project Manchester. I always need to pinch myself and remember the amazing people and companies I have had the privilege of making content for.

I have worked with bands and solo artists during tour and commissioned events such as Lady Gaga (covering just under ten of her UK tour dates for Live Nation), McBusted (covering nine of their UK tours dates), Bad Company (covering nine of their UK tour dates), Joe & Caspar (covering five of their UK tour dates). I have also been commissioned by festivals and events to photograph World wide DJ’s, and one or two privately, from the likes of Steve Angello, Skrillex, Knife Party, Martin Garrix, Avicii, Calvin Harris, Hardwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Aoki, Breach, Paul Woolford, Route 94, Annie Mac, Jaguar Skills, Skream, Benga, Sasha, Danny Howard, Sonny Fodera, MK, Gorgon City, Duke Dumont, Booka Shade.

I love people and most of all love creating unique media to be used by my clients! Hopefully you can see that by this website I built and the brand and image I have spent so much time on developing. I’m proud to say I’ve had the opportunity to photograph such incredible artists, however that isn’t the be all and end all – working with amazing people is.
